Interview

Yesterday was Semi-conductor Fundamentals paper and my nus nursing interview.

The paper was alright I guess, knew how to do some questions, of course most of it was still anyhow do.
Time wasn't really enough though, there were a lot of different parts to a question and I spent a lot of time on the first two questions.
Actually wanted to leave early but since already not enough time to finish so I didn't.
In the end had to rush to NUS, was afraid that I will be late.

Finished the paper and rush to meet dear at the bus stop, he waited for me throughout my paper! So sweet!
Was so lucky to be able to get a cab after 5 minutes.
Reach in less than half an hour. Stopped in front of the Cultural Centre.
There was a lot of people dressed in chinese costumes in and in front of the cultural centre.
Reminded me about the time when I went for SYF in primary school.
I think it was the same place, look very much alike.
Was the same too, Chinese Dance.

Anyway, went opposite to the building I was supposed to have my interview at.
Went up the lift, asked the receptionist, she asked me which team I'm in.
Told her I was in Team B she said I was in Team C, she looked at my letter which says Team B as well. She said it changed. -.-
Did some sort of a questionnaire, asked lots of questions about your present life, why you chose nursing and all that kind of stuff.
Met 2 guys and 1 girl, they were all so friendly, sort of intimidated by them, I'm too shy? Hmm.
Anyway, waited around 45 minutes, went into room.
There were 3 interviewers, a caucasian guy and 2 aunties.

The Caucasian was sort of quiet, most of the questions was asked by the two aunties.
When the Caucasian spoke up, didn't understand his question, he got quite a heavy accent.
They kept asking me why I want to change course because nursing is a rather big change from engineering.
Well, I want to explore more possibilities in the biomedical area, maybe because I had enough of engineering already.
They asked about what I did in Polytechnic, it was like they thought I change twice already, I said I used to do EEE in SP, and then EEE in NTU, then now I want to do Nursing in NUS.
One of the auntie said, "You already change twice!? What makes you want to do Nursing then? Wouldn't you want to change if you don't like it again?"
*roll eyes* Its like they don't understand what is the difference between polytechnic and university. My goodness.
I literally had to explained the difference of what I did in Polytechnic was different from University and exactly what I mean when I did Biomedical Computing in Polytechnic.
Shouldn't they understand what are electives?
And obviously I already did research and lots of thinking before I go for the interview right?
If I can get out of engineering, I believe I can take whatever that comes my way by then.
So I guess I didn't fare very well for the interview. So exasperated.
Oh well, let nature takes it course bah. (:
If I can't get in, private won't be a bad choice also?

Seems like I'm always updating during exams.
Oh well, vent my frustrations.

Finished my first paper. Signals and Systems.
Did a whole lot of crap. Ha!
Anyway, got shortlisted for interview for nursing at NUS.
Wish me luck for that. Plan to really withdraw from NTU.
If interview fails, most likely go to private.
I know exactly what field I want to pursue.
So lets just fulfill my dream~

New Layout

Anyway, one last paper to go before holiday starts.
Last paper will be Foundation Physics.
Previous paper was Digital Electronics on Tuesday and Data Structures and Algorithm on Thursday.
Digital Electronics was a goner.
Not enough time so I only finish approximately half of it.
Data Structures and Algorithm was better thoough.
Kind of like the best I did in this Exam.
What is over is over already.
Now must focus on my last paper.

Onalee messaged me just now.
Ask me to go to work tomorrow.
Told her cannot because I need to study for the last paper.
Every second is precious. That what I have learnt this semester in university.
Well, I will be going back to work starting Tuesday after my last paper on Monday.
So hardworking! Ha.
Dou say lucky I'm going back to work.
Because Rasul quit already. His last day was wednesday I think.
Oh well. I wish Lao ban is still in T2.
I can't imagine working with Daniel.
I guess I have to face him sooner or later.

I want to go shopping after exams!
Seriously need some new jeans.
Dou! You must pei me ok?

I miss my dear.
Anyway, his POP will be on the 9th of December!
Hope his break will be 2 weeks instead of 5 days like ttw said.
Don't know whether I'll be going to his POP or not.
Might not be able to get away from BK anyway.

Anyway. Hope you guys like the new layout.

Thanks everyone, heart all of you :)

The only thing I can do right now is to jiayou.

Studying had always been an enjoyable experience till now.
The days we used to spend late nights studying for mid years, final years, prelims, O levels, Mid semester tests, Semester exams.
Not to mention the entire days that we used sitting in front of the computers doing F&N projects, Programming projects, FYP, and stuff.
It isn't the same anymore.

Seriously, I miss those days.
It was never like this, where you get sit down, getting so pissed off just by thinking, why can't I complete such a simple question without referring to the notes or people's answer?
Its so damn frustrating sometimes. The feeling of helplessness is so demoralising.
Especially when you feel like a nervous wreck before entering the examination hall.
When you sit down, its even worst.
You contemplate the paper and find out, yeah I forgot everything I've learnt.
Its often the case now.
I sit down and wonder, what the hell should I write on this paper when apparently, I don't know how to attempt the questions.
Well well. So in the end, all my answers are crap. Might as well hand in a blank script.

I'll just go in, sit down, write some crap, and wonder how the hell the rest of the people in the hall does it.
I feel stupid. Yes, it does have that impact on you.

Oh well.
Nothing I can control about it.
Time waits for no man. I am busy catching up with it.
There isn't enough time to study now, and I can only try my best.

Yes.
I'm back blogging.
Happy? lols
Well..
Many things happened in this half a year since I've stopped blogging.

Oh well.
Basically, I'm now struggling with my studies.
Sometimes, really feel like giving up.
But when I think about it, what can I do if I give up?
Go into a private university? Hmm.
Cost is definitely a problem, and besides, my dream was to get into NTU and get a degree right?

EEE was not my first choice. I know that I have absolutely no interest, not to say talent, in this field.
Bioengineering was not my aim either.
But since I can't get into a pure science field I got to grab the closest alternative right?
Yeah. I really hoped to get into Bioengine and I didn't.
I thought, why not try EEE out? Besides, in the final year, I still have a choice of choosing Medical field as my elective.
Yes. And now I can't even get past the first semester.
Oh wow.

Well, it seems like I'm not the only one having problems.
Seems like my friends around me have problems coping with the pace of university life.
One of them even dropped out.
That had sort of a big impact on me.
I feel like giving up too.
I keep thinking I can always get into a private uni, or work while appealing.
Seems like I'm running away from the problem. Ha.
It never occured to me university life will be this tough.
But I do want to get a degree.
I don't know what to do right now.
I know I won't do well this semester and I'm uncertain about the future semesters as well.
So, how? Damn.

This will be a challenge in life that I've to get through.
I have no idea what the future holds for me.
And i also have no idea what is the next step that I should take.
Maybe I shall think about after the exams.
No point thinking about it now, making me so depressed and feeling so stupid.

Oh well, just a random ranting post about my depressing life right now. Ciaoz then.

uni is killing me..
its either trying to kill me or drive me mad..
i did badly in CA paper..
oh well.. kinda expected it..
ha.. i din even noe how to do a single question..
wrote some crap and handed in.. better than nvr write anything..
100% will fail.. haha..
i dun wanna remodule it..
CA has dependency in my next sem module..
so i will have to forward my next sem module also..

i dunno wat to do..
i think i will drop out bah..
im left with 3 choices..

i will appeal for bioengine..
if unsuccessful.. i will maybe drop out..

Firstly, went to kbox with my beloved wu mei~
was okie lah.. quite fun..

Cruise day 1.. packed my luggauge in de morning..
den went out with my dear dear..
feet hasnt really recovered yet.. although rested at home for 2 days liao..

Cruise~ Day 2 (06/02/2008)

Cruise day 2.. woke up at 5 plus..
all of us went to bathe.. jiu proceeded outside at ard 6 plus..
to see sunrise..
in de end.. sun nvr rise sooo early lah..
haha.. and de wind was superrrrrrr strong.. -.-
superrrrr cold de lo!
walk abit ard.. jiu cant stand de wind..
and went to eat breakfast coz they were hungry..
ate le jiu went see whether de sun rose or not..
haha.. rose le.. but cant really see much coz it was a very cloudy day..
after that jiu went explore again and played cards in de room..
not long after.. ard 12..
jiu went to eat again.. lol.. like feed pig liddat..

and gathered to played uno in louis, ming woei and david's room before gg kl..
went down de cruise at ard 2 plus.. sat bus go mid valley megamall..

Cruise~ day 3 (07/03/2008)

was meant to wake up at 6 plus to meet dem to watch sunrise again..
in de end.. all four of us girls overslept.. hahahax..
i actually woke up.. press de alarm and went back to sleep..
both me and ling yan alarm rang at de same time..
both of us pressed and went back to slp..
dou kena shocked by de alarm and woke up..
but went back sleep after we both press de alarm!
lol.. funny lo..
den minnie woke up at 730.. and went back sleep since all of us still sleeping..
lol.. den i woke up at 745.. and woke everybody up.. hahahax..
called chee wee.. to ask y they nvr call us..
most of the guys wanted to go back to sleep.. lol..
in de end de most insistent on watching sunrise de louis also went back to sleep.. haha..
sunrise din watch.. we jiu bathe.. wait for de guys abit jiu went to eat breakfast..
8 of us went first.. den ttw and leng khoon who went to bathe joined us..
ate de buffet for 2 days de breakfast..
after breakfast.. went explore again.. stay in de room play cards..
packed luggage..
den jiu went for lunch at 1130 along with luggage coz after 12 we were supposed to leave our cabin..
ate western food this time..
4 course.. appetizer, soup, main course and dessert..
super filling.. din really like de fish.. coz it wasnt exactly fresh..
de rest was alright tho..
after lunch went card room.. play cards.. until hui min called and said can leave de ship liao..
so we went down..
queue was long.. hahax..
in de end got some commotion regarding cutting queue.. haiz..
got back to habourfront centre..
saw kah mun.. dunno come for wat.. haha..
den me ling yan and dou went to take cab home leaving the guys first..
saw chee wee when we were ard halfway in de queue.. so he joined us lo..
send him home first.. den jiu go ling yan hse.. den dou.. den my hse..
that was all for my first overseas trip without my mum.. lol..
go home jiu slept like a log.. hahahax..

went makan with aunties..
after work.. met at 3 to eat at crystal jade..
to use de 50 voucher auntie yoke chan scratched de last time we went..

not bad lo.. :) enjoyed talking with de aunties..

went for de CAAS airport staff course..
in order to do our pass.. we had to attend de course..
was alright.. not as bad as i imagine.. lol..
quite fun actually.. haha.. got take photo..

where we had to go ard airport looking for de places shown in de paper they gave..

went prawning today..
dear came to fetch me and we took 21 to pasir ris..
reach there early so we went mac to have breakfast..
in de end all was late!
hahahax..
when we all met up.. walk to de prawn place..
den negotiated about de price and stuff..
me and ming woei din catch any prawn! sobx..
dear caught one though.. hahax..
okie lah.. quite ex tho..
and i din catch anything!
lol.. i was only playing with de teeny weeny little prawnies.. hahaha..
they were trying to eat my bait mah.. lolx..

HEY!
im back blogging..
:) finally exams are over and chinese new year is coming..
HAPPY CNY EVERYONE~

exams were quite difficult this sem..
not much confidence tho.. some of the papers was killers..
meant to kill us.. lol..
but anyway its over..
hope that can do well and get all As this sem..
since our FYP is a confirm A already, juz the 5 subjects.. :)
keke.. really hope can get all As this semester as well..
really really hope my gpa can increase till at least a 3.4..
pray hard pray hard..

any.. CNY is coming soon..
and i have to work for chu yi chu er chu san chu si..
ahhhh.. haha.. like no new year liddat..
oh well.. i'll probably be very~ tired after de four days.. lol

Sorry for not updating regularly..

busy with spinnovex and studies arh..

anw.. updating today with some photos taken during spinnovex.. :)

keke.. anw.. spinnovex was tiring..
also quite fun sometimes la.. haha..
sometimes was slacking a bit and talking to the people at the booth beside us.. beside us with luis's group and de wireless home guardian group which was also beside us when we were having highlighted presentation.. lol..
such a coincidence right.. lol..

anw.. the guys was pretty nice lah.. helped us alot!
seems like they have everything de lo..
ranging from screwdrivers, tape, multimeters and stuff.. lol..
the conversations was sometimes super funny also.. lmao..
esp nabila la.. super de high.. lol..
esp that day when we took chee wee's car to sch..
she was super high de whole day..
so i told her its because of the cute guy she saw on de road driving another car that morn.. lol..
maybe bah? yang dan also say that guy very shuai.. lol..

i din see the guy tho.. lmao..

but was a little tired la after spinnovex..

esp my feet 3 whole days wearing high heels leh.. nightmare sia..

yesterday was christmas..

wish all a MERRY CHRISTMAS! although its sort of late.. lol..

anw.. last week of holiday le..

went to sch today for FYP..

did from 8 plus to 2 plus..

din really do much la.. i only learn more bout the circuit from yang dan..

will be finishing up the report soon bah..

anw.. after FYP took chee wee's car (or his mum's) to sim lim..

lol.. so nice of him to send us there lol..

nvr update for two weeks le!!
haha.. its ok lah..
anyway not much time for me to update..
very tired lo recently..

now holiday le..
2 weeks.. but cannot rest still..
have to chiong fyp report..

irritating.. made me and nabila rush here and there on de last day of sch..

Fourth Paper -- MIIP (Medical Imaging and Image Processing

yest was my last MST paper..
MIIP.. it was an afternoon paper..

studied till 5 am lo.. -.-
den wake up at 11.. study a bit..
eat breakfast.. (or brunch lah.. lol..)
den jiu went school le..

reach ard 3..
den waited outside de class lo..
and all discuss on our theory.. lol..
after that 330 jiu went in le..

the paper is so so so madness lah..
i studied so much of CT and they go come out ultrasound and infrared..
NO CT!!! idiot.. -.-
suay sia.. i forgot most of my ultrasound.. so ard 10 plus marks gone..
plus i forgot some of the infrared camera components..
but hor.. kena saved by FYP.. lol..
our fyp doing on infrared camera mah.. so i list down de stuff we have in our camera.. lmao..
but overall perhaps minus like 10 marks as well..
MCQ like got one or two wrong.. minus 4 marks..
plus some unexpected mistakes.. 16 marks..
so predicted worst case senario.. 60 marks.. T.T
super sad lah..
but my predicted marks are always not accurate de..
coz i normally think of the worst of the worst.. lmao..
lets hope i can still secure an A if he marks de paper leniently.. lol..

but hor.. de paper really madness lo..
i ALMOST kena killed by the first question.. de cost function de..
its i know how to do lo..
but hor.. is i nvr see comparing of 3 images before.. lol..
so at first i compared de 2 derived images.. fig b1(b) and fig b1(c)..
but its supposed to be compare de orginal and de derived..
fig b1(a) and fig b1(b), fig b1(a) and fig b1(c)
lucky thing i saw de part (c) of the question.. to compare de quality of the two images..
den i was thinking.. how to compare when i only have one cost function?
lol.. den i found out actually de qn want us to compare orginal and derived..
i think some ppl made de same mistake as me.. lol..
but im lucky i found out.. and i cancelled off de whole page 1 of my ans booklet..
-.- waste my time nia..

besides that question..
the back projection was troublesome as well..
got a total of 4 scans leh! -.-
plus i made a stupid careless mistake..
and i almost lost 16 marks because of that careless mistake..
im so lucky that i always check thoroughly before submission.. phew..
if not i really want to go knock my head on de wall liao..
dat careless mistake will affect de whole answer..

but anw.. pray hard will do well for all of my papers..
after MST.. went take mrt with yang dan and nabila.. plus david which got off at tiong bahru..
and de guys who are going to chee wee's hse.. lol..
they got off at aljunied mah.. me and yang dan went bedok..

den at kembangan, i called raymond tan.. coz he say he want meet me give me things..
he say he meet me bedok mrt lo..
and so.. i met him.. den wat he give me......

that was super super heavy lah!

den i was planning to ta bao kfc for mummy and myself..

she on de bus to inter mah.. so i wait for her at inter lo..
since angie walked home liao..

after ah dou reached she say want to go library to collect her charmed books..
so went with her lo.. den angie also reached inter le.. she want to top up her ezlink..
after that we took 222 to blk 85 market..
sat down... ah dou did all of the ordering.. lmao..
ordered hao jian, satay, and of coz our fave bak chor mee~
had fun talking la.. lmao..
after that ta bao for mummy le, took a walk ard ntuc and 7E jiu walk home lo..

Third Paper -- OS (Operating Systems)

today was the second last paper le..
OS.. lol.. got my results also le..

went to school with yang dan cause she say she want to ask me qn..
reach school at ard 10.. then sat outside the lab area and study.. lol..
angela got print out de sample exam papers.. so we were sort of like discussing about it..
wah lucky got discuss a bit sia.. it helped.. lol..
some of the questions came out..
ard 1020 plus jiu went in..
after that went foodcourt 2 to eat with yang dan..
den jiu went home le lo..

actually its online MST lah..
first time have online de MST lo.. waha
100 questions.. i thought will be quite difficult to finish..
in the end.. i finish it in like 20 plus mins.. -.-
lmao.. but of cause have to go back and check all the answers mah..
first person to finish was the Myanmar de girl..
she got 80.. den second one to finish was another guy from our class..
third one jie kai.. fourth one me.. lol..

me got 81!! actually didnt quite expected it lo..
i thought will get like 70 plus nia..
haha.. so quite happy..
jie kai highest le lah.. -.- he got 91..
yang dan got 80 and angela got 84.. lol..
actually the paper was overall quite easy also..
some of the questions are repeated either from tutorial or sample quiz de..
i actually din go and really study de 3036 stuff lo..
300 over pages leh.. siao..
and i already half asleep after i finished studying everything..
which is like 4am!

Second Paper -- CSS (Client Server Systems)

waiting for ming en to finish copying my OS lab notes..

just finish CSS paper nia..
actually to say the truth the MST paper is not difficult at all lo..
2 questions are repeated from the three MST paper that were provided for us to practise..
one is the E-R diagram then one is the SQL statement the question..
din really go to memorise the questions..
although i did all of the past year MST papers.. and wrote them all out..
lol.. some of the answers i forgot lo.. sianz..

but anw.. overall i think should get 70?
lol.. im not very sure le.. coz like quite a lot of ans wrong..
if im lucky i can get 80 bah.. hopefully! lol..
and i studied very hard for this paper leh..
cause like dun really understand the past year MST the question..
actually it seems like im not the only one that is unsure about the answers..
lol.. seems like quite a number of the answers are wrong de..

now im super super lethargic lah..
cause i slept only at 330 in the morning..
trying to cramp everything into my brain and to understand the concept..
lol.. tmr still got OS lo!
cannot rest T.T
go home must straight away chiong le..
if cannot finish studying i think i have to burn midnight oil again!

First Paper -- MIT (Medical Informatics and Telemedicine)

today was the first paper for MST..
MIT..

the paper went quite well i guess..
most of the answers i know.. and the paper was relatively easy..
haha.. got at least one MCQ wrong though..
plus the ECG telemetry system not sure what to write..
haha.. but overall its an A paper le :)
since i got the regression correct.. lol..
lucky got practise a lot.. hahaha..
pray hard can get 90!
get 90 i will be super duper happy le.. lol..

as usual one of the last to finish the paper.. lol..
actually spent a lot of time checking the regression qn..
cause was super super scared that i calculate wrongly..
if calculate wrongly will be super yuan wang la..
i'll kill myself if i made such a silly mistake.. lol..
but nvr la.. i checked like twice so was quite sure that i got it correct..
hahax.. first thing got out of the examination room jie kai ask me de regression ans..
lmao.. lucky i got correct.. :)

firstly.. today no school mah..
so stayed at home to study for MST lo..
had a good night rest.. has been so long since i really had a good night sleep..
havent been sleeping well recently lo.. quite a lot of things to stress about..
haiz.. esp with lots of project and assignments to do..
have to juggle work, studies and stuff..
work is like getting super tiring..
seems like next month will be a even more hectic month..
along with the alumni dance rehersals coming up..

but anw.. afternoon received a call from nabila..
ask me whether mr than got call me or not..
lol.. but he nvr lah..
so nabila had to call mr than back..
after she called mr than she called me again..
den told me.. eh.. mr than juz told us me not selected for highlight leh..
well.. heard that was like so disappointed lah!
den i was like okie lo.. no choice......
den nabila said.. you believe me arh?
i was joking leh..
WE ARE SELECTED FOR HIGHLIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG LA.. so super happy liao..
we two were like hyper hyper..

CSS Labtest

Today was CSS de labtest..

morning started raining quite heavily..
didnt want to wake up.. lol..
but had to mah.. got lecture in de morning..
went took mrt with mummy..
reached lecture hall de earliest..
perhaps rainy day today so most ppl either din come or was late..
anw.. din pay attention throughout de whole lecture..
was busy studying and copying de codes for the labtest..
and finishing up my design document..
den ended up playing facebook as well.. -.-

haha.. lecture actually ended quite early lo..
we thought its break.. lmao..
but anw.. after that jiu went for labtest..
actually de lab test is quite ok..
its just that de instructions are not very clear lo..

made me add de list box item via database rather than manual add..
i do until halfway den he say.. -.-
den initialising of textbox also is manual de..
thot it was quite weird lo.. lmao..
so ask angela is it liddat de..
she say ya.. weird lo.. not very sure bout de instructions..
but shld be ok de bah.. lol..
yang dan din finish tho.. couldnt help her..

after labtest jiu went home le..
actually wanted to stay in sch do CSS..

today was work.. yest also..
yest opening was lao ban.. today jimmy..
viviana on mc yest.. so lao ban sort of did full shift..
but obviously such a jian zha lao ban wont do full shift right?
on a saturday some more.. lol
so.. in de end grace came at ard 4.. lol..
and den lao ban went home at 5..
me and dou still have to help him extend lo..
we so nice la..
plus me hurt myself lo!

now still painful lo!

weekend as usual was work lo..
saturday went out a while walk walk at airport after work..

anw.. this morning was MIT prac..
e learning week assignment doing with angela and kah mun..
on labview.. doing HL7 decoder.. haiz..
me dun like labview lo! lmao.. no choice tho..

den afternoon was MIIP prac..
lol.. eh.. quite fun lah.. lmao..
did ultrasound de experiment..
at first its lecturer do de experiment..
den dexiang was de volunteer.. lmao..
actually is we go push him do de lah.. haha..
angela say he gentleman.. so muz go.. lmao..
but in de end his carotid artery to difficult to find..
and teacher cannot find his pulse.. lmao..
we were like dexiang.. u sure u alive? keke

in de end de lecturer did on himself.. lol..
den can le.. de sound was sort of weird tho.. haha..
coz each grp one person be volunteer mah..
so i do lo.. wahaha..
quite fun tho.. but had to find my own artery..

dining as usual is auntie yik ngoh..

business was quite good.. busier than normal days..

auntie yoke chan din come coz she went for holiday..

as well as auntie pit yoke also..

den in de afternoon did a while kitchen..

had some sort of speech, Star search and prize giving at de convention centre lo..

the star search super funny lah.. lol..

today was such a nice and lucky day lah!

went eat at jurong point in de morning..
den went school..
waited for yang dan at de mrt..
den went project lab..
circuit is finally done!!

all 56 leds can work le~
circuit can also work le!!
yay! super happy le~
with de camera brought.. and de lcd delivering soon..
everything is right on track le!!

today me soldered another 28 more leds lor..
for de second illuminator.. (:
but hand kena burnt lol..
but luckily everything turned out fine..
actually circuit is ok de..

today was slightly later for school..
on time la.. juz that not as early i had been for de past few days..
juz that evonne auntie came back yest..
den she always liddat de.. last min will stop u from going out..
-.- i got ready to go out of de hse at 6.50 le..
den she stop me and ask me help her do de price tag thingy..
haiz.. in de end i fiddle fiddle.. still cannot do.. lol..
but too late liao.. if dun get out of de hse sure late de.. lmao..

morning lecture was super super boring~

today had 2 practicals..

after practical went to do fyp..

finally! circuit is finally working..

de illuminator circuit also working le!!!

after all de soldering and desoldering of de LEDs i finally finish and made all 5 rows light up!

yay! lol..

desoldered like 3 rows of led and put it back again..
luckily able to work.. if not i really go siao le.. hahax..
anw.. yang dan and nab left me in project lab.. so they can do de new circuit pcb..
den mr than came.. lol.. he told us to discuss whether we are ready to present..
so he can nominate us for spinnovex..
yang dan says ready.. lol..
basically the main part is already done..
only de buying of the camera, lcd and batteries etc..
shld be able to make it.. (:

First week of Sem 2

havent been updating since last week.. hahax..
first week of school was ok lo..

but modules this sem looks quite difficult to me..
esp de OPSYS module.. using linux.. sobx..
i dun understand a thing lo.. wahaha..
plus not a big help tat de prac and tut lecturer is an american..
haiz.. well.. his accent sounds ok with me bah..
but sometimes.. sort of difficult to understand his instructions..
for lecture de lecturer is a malaysian..
he teach is ok la.. but he seems a little blur to me.. lol..
plus he likes to add a one behind most of his sentences.. lmao..
plus OPSYS de text book is ex lor! 40 bucks leh.. sian diao le..
super broke now.. waiting for payday.. lol..

CSS is quite ok.. database de..
learning vb.net in prac.. database in lecture..
lecturer is a bit too long winded and boring tho..
hahax.. and quite slow in teaching.. not a bad thing but boring leh!

MIIP is quite ok also.. but but but..
prac is mathlab again! sian.. lol..
MIT is better bah? prac for first week is excel..
lol.. still can..
hope can do well this sem again.. hahax..

CSW is language module..
haiz.. de teacher seems nice enough tho..
although she said she wont be lenient in marking.. lmao..
but seems like lots of role play stuff.. sian le.. haha..
plus got something like workshop sessions.. haiz..

FYP is going rather smoothly yest and today..
before that there was a slight glitch in de circuit and it couldnt work..
illuminator was super irritating tho.. in total i solder like 56 leds in total..
plus 10 resistors.. im going siao.. and till now..
still 3 rows in one and 2 rows in another light up nia..
gonna continue on tuesday bah.. hahax..
taking out de 2 rows that doesnt work and put 10 more new leds in..
tried de leds out on breadboard and almost drove me crazy also..
redo it like a lot of times den can make all 5 rows of led light up.. -.-
contact not good and stuff lo.. haiz.. sian de..
but muz jiayou jiayou.. mr than came down twice.. once today.. once on thurs..
he nvr say anything tho.. seems like most of de stuff is going smooth..
juz that de camera and lcd havent reach and got to go find batt and holders and stuff..
but once pcb is done.. halfway done le.. (:
pcb de circuit is still fixing in progress.. yang dan seems to have figured out de glitch le..

hihi! i'm back~

been doing FYP for de past few days..
using trax maker and doing routing for de pcb board..
super headache lo.. haiz..
like some kind of logic puzzle when u have to find ways to join de pins together..
lol.. but finally done le.. hope can do de pcb tmr..
kinda have to find ways to print de pcb layout out..
see tmr how lo..

anw.. kor moved back in le..
broke up with his gf..
like kinda sad see him liddat also..
second day he came back drunk lo..
so sad.. haiz..
but its not a bad thing that he broke up with her tho..
i always thought it was a matter of time..
my bro too good to her le lo..

now i have to find places to put my stuff.. lol..
but its ok la.. its his home mah.. will always be opened for him to come back de..

chee fatt also came coz he overslept and din come for 2 days..
den kitchen got 5 counter got 3 dining 2..
lol.. at first got auntie mary de..
but she say she sick.. den so many ppl she went home lo..
as usual that jian zha de lao ban let her go home coz he scared she cannot come tmr..
lol.. typical lo..

so counter is me auntie irene and chee fatt..
-.- chee fatt do counter like only me and auntie irene do liddat..
hes always disappearing.. haiz.. heck care him liao..
to think that his sales is only 95 bucks at 10am.. -.-
where me and auntie irene sales is both at 600 liao..
den at 2 my sales already over $1100 his still at $400..

hello! seems like i havent been blogging for quite a few days..
pretty busy.. lol.. as usual with work..
super tiring but was quite fun also lah..
haha.. working in kitchen for everyday except sat.. (:
but auntie mary was busy screaming.. lol..

pretty busy at bk.. service 10 and such..
maybe because of holidays bah.. ppl going overseas..
hahax.. all of de days worked with ryan.. for opening..
month end that day.. i had to count de stuff.. -.-
lazy mike.. i had to count de small fry bag leh..
in de end de total was 4233.. -.- lucky auntie yoke chan was so nice to help me.. (:
counted de crois wrappers, mayo, tartar, salt, pepper, tenders box, de small sauce containers, stirrers, whopper jr wrappers thats about all bah..
not alot lah.. coz raymond did most of de counting.. lol..

BSPA was ok.. studied for 2 whole days..
i did my best le.. thats wats impt :)
really hope can get a A for BSPA~

except for one qn for the quantisation output signal..
lol.. nvr see before such a question sia.. dunno how to do!
wahaha.. but nvm lo.. de aliasing signal also draw wrong..
but overall ok lo..

i knew someone din come for BSPA paper..
coz there was one table not occupied..
din see dexiang so aft the paper ask yang dan whether got see him not..
she say got lo!! in de end dexiang really nvr come for BSPA paper coz he saw wrong date..
he 9 plus at night den found out neh.. Oo
so couldnt get MC..
i think he appeal by writing letter to director and david li le..
lets hope the appeal successful.. if not he'll need to repeat module and waste half a year..

morning pei mummy go for checkup..
reach ard 10.. den wait until 11 den can go in for checkup..
-.- so slow.. wahaha.. appointment time was like 1030 can.. haiz..
anw.. after payment went to get de date for colonoscopy..
de date suay suay on 16th of aug.. when we having BEEP semestral exam..
i think tell kor to pei her go bah..
coz that day she will need to be sedated.. need ppl bring her home..
den her test also suay suay at 3.. exam is frm 2 to 4.10.. haiz..
anw.. aft that den went eat with mummy and her friend lo..
coz at first mummy thought that de appointment will take long..
den i have to go at 12 plus for class mah..

hihi!!
today was school lo..
woke up slightly late..
gt to rush to get out of the house before the traffic jam starts..
in de end still got stuck in traffic for like 20 mins.. -.-
but i reach school on time.. yay!
haha.. i reach go in class only jie kai inside..
lol.. he ask me y i so late.. lmao..
he thought no class..

yang dan din come.. she woke up late..
and so help her check ECS results..
soooo disappointed with moi ECS results..
1 MORE MARK..
just give me 1 more mark and i'll get A liao.. oO
only got 79.. haiz.. tho a little better than expected..
and so this semester de results are all better than i expected..
juz that din reach my target for BEEP and MAD nia..
haha.. angela got 90 over for biomed modules and 80 plus for computer modules..
to sum up i got 88 for MAD, 84 for BEEP, 73 for BSPA and 79 for ECS..
looks that this sem de results are quite balanced..
lets strive for straight As!! jiayou!!

den went for MAD..
really giving me a big headache..
decided to take angela's suggestion and use tables for moi location stuff..

Friday went school early!!
first to reach.. and yet the door to lecture hall havent open -.-
haiz.. hahaha.. trying to make an effort to come sch early..

coz the train came from tanah merah instead of pasir ris.. (:

after jai came den went inside lo..
on laptop a while coz jk want use..
saw BEEP results.. better than wat i have expected to get with this paper..
but was not up to standard.. D:
got to buck up liao if i intend to get dist..
think i'll be satisfied with A bah.. since i get only 84.. SOB..
most ppl get ard 70 to 80 plus..

after helping jai to write de marks and arrange papers den gave him back..

as usual.. very bored..

i woke up so early and for once got to school early..
in de end reach sch at 0745.. lol..

lecturer only reached at 8 plus.. -.-
and he open door for us only.. haiz..
coz no tutorial plus we havent had lecture..
plus he nvr mark finish de paper..
and he said MCQ was bad..
like expected le lah..

and so we sit there chit chat..
and play song.. lol..
den at ard 9 went for MAD lor..

a little disappointed with my results..
oh well.. i got 88 nia..

saturday was work lor.. woke up at 3.. sibeh tired!! haha.. and den went down at 410am.. waited for uncle until 4.30.. -.- so slow.. haha.. i rather he come earlier.. anw.. was month end!! haha.. hate month ends which are sat.. hate doing month end also.. lol.. but anw.. schedule put me 6.. so i slack ard lor.. lol.. help auntie do croissant.. and force kelly do omelette.. lol.. but anw.. at 6 jiu went out.. helped angie count money.. at first she go kitchen w/o telling me nor ryan.. but since kitchen so many ppl.. got 4 aunties and it wld be 5 if angie goes in.. i told ah ma earlier on that angie coming in do kitchen hor.. lol.. ah ma de reaction so funny.. hahaha.. since ah ma liddat den i said ok lor.. i ask angie do counter.. coz 5 really too many lah.. lol.. plus one more za gong to help out everything also good wat.. and so i told ryan.. angie do counter lah.. den i help auntie wash tray all that lor.. plus stock up and blah.. ryan said ok mah so i open angie counter..

after i counted angie's counter i told her to come out.. she bu yao! -.- she say sore throat mah.. she ask me do counter den she do za gong.. ok lor.. fine lor.. i anything de.. so she did za gong and i was counter.. den all aunties come liao.. angie went in help auntie wash tray lor.. -.- very slow lor.. i also dunno wat she doing inside.. but i also dun care le lor.. wat i thought was since u want to be za gong.. den make it fast mah.. i got a lot of things need her help me stock up.. but half of the time i dunno where she was.. so in end all is we ownself do..

anw.. now all de manager are sooo... how to say.. wish bk gone back in time.. and tian, chris, jaz dey all come back.. haha.. dou quarrelled with both ryan and mike liao.. and almost with jackson.. haha.. haiz.. ryan argued with auntie mary i think.. both auntie irene and her dun like to work with ryan.. and kitchen de auntie dun like to work with jackson.. and mike is how to say.. damn irresponsible.. his schedule is like so luan.. and very shou bu liao ta sometimes.. haha.. went home with angie after work and lunch.. i end only at 245 liddat coz customer kept coming moi counter and i din want to close and leave auntie mary there.. but in de end.. juz close and told jackson and rasul to look after when service finally cleared.. haha.. dou and gie went eat w/o me.. haha..

stunned at the first qn..

today was BSPA..
lol.. i din have high hopes for this paper..
studied till 4 am in de morning.. sleep a while till 6 plus..
den wake up and continue studying..

will be able to pass..
pass i happy liao..

haha.. today went to bedok lib to study with wu mei~
first me and zaza went to buy hairclip coz za juz cut her hair mah..
den went ntuc buy sweet.. lol..

no space for us to study! D:
and so we went to sit on de sofa..
after that realised can go study in cafe..

ordered drinks and finger food..

service was ok..
quite busy when we were changing frm breakfast to lunch..

Saturday's Outing with BK ppl..

anw.. shall blog about the saturday outing..
morning me worked..
angie also.. service was ok lor..
but a bit weird hahaha.. coz when auntie mary and auntie irene not at counter..
service will be low..
when they came back service went up to 10..
lol.. i nvr stop from 6 onwards..
but its not as busy as that sunday in history..
lol.. nvr even reach level 3..
hahaha.. so its ok lor.. juz damn tired..
hahaha.. but because i chiong MAD concept paper the prev night..
until i slept at 1 am and woke up at 3am.. i was dead beat.. hahaha..
poor me! haiz..

anw opening was ryan and midshift was jackson..
i was like heck care jackson liao..
coz i noe that afternoon not enuf crew..
coz ah dou say need go sch(actually is go eat with us)
and raymond got andy to replace him..
but i din noe that auntie irene wants to go home early..
and so.. i at most help him extend till 3 liddat..
and aft that i rush to toilet change and meet ah dou..

hahaha.. sat mrt to tiong bahru..
and realised i made a mistake and that we were supposed to meet shiau yoong at outram..
hahaha.. but we only meeting at 6 so me and dou went tiong bahru first..

神也非常非常地高兴。

于是，神写了无数张邀请函，广邀众人参加宴会。
有十二种动物，应邀来到神的身边。
自此之后，每当月光皎洁的夜晚，神跟十三只动物就会举办宴会。
他们唱歌跳舞，神第一次开心地欢笑。
就连月亮也静静守护... 这一场神与动物们的晚宴。

但是有一晚，猫昏倒了。
它的寿命已尽，任何人都束手无策。
大家都哭了起来。
随后大家发现到一件事。
那就是每个人终将一死。
宴会结束了。
不管是多么快乐的事，还是多么灿烂珍贵的回忆，有朝一日也会消失。
神... 念起... 一道咒语后，就在酒杯上画上圆圈。
猫舔了一口酒，对大家说...
[ 这就是我们之间的羁绊。]
[ 让今日成为永恒。]
[ 就算有一天，我们其中一个先离开人世，永远的羁绊还是会连系着我们。]
[ 不管... 生命轮回多少次，我们还是一样...... 永远在一起... 不断地办宴会。]
[ 我们永远都不会改变...... 大家永远都是好朋友，永远不变。]

每个动物都点头允诺。
老鼠第一个舔酒。
接着是牛、老虎、秃子、就这样，动物们按照顺序饮酒为盟。
最后当猪舔完酒时，猫奄奄一息的哭泣。
[ 神啊！]
[ 神啊！为什么？您要让我饮酒为盟？神啊！我不需要永远！]
[ 不需要不变！]

猫的这句话，出乎众人的意料之外。
对省和所有动物来说，这句话形同拒绝。
每只动物都很悲伤，不断地责骂猫。

但是猫说...
[ 神啊！神啊！即使恐惧害怕，也要请你接受结束这个事实。]
[ 即使寂寞孤单也要请您接受逝去的生命。]
[ 神啊！能守护在您身边一段时间，我觉得非常幸福。]
[ 如果能够重来一次，生命再度轮回，我们再次相遇，我希望不只是在月光下欢笑的您，我还能看见在阳光下欢笑的您。]

[ 下一次，希望不只是我们围绕着你，我希望能见到... 受众人围绕的您。]
猫最后轻摇一下尾巴，断气离世。
但是，没有动物愿意理猫。
因为他们的心里满是被猫背叛的痛苦。
猫死后不久，动物们一个接着一个去世，直到所有的动物都去世。
最后，连龙也过世了。
神又再度孤独一人。

而后，终于轮到神了。
神的死亡之日也来临了。
但是神一点也不害怕。
因为与动物们之间的约定支撑着他。
[ 到时... ]
[ 我们将再次举办宴会。再次举办，很多很多场的宴会，一直到永远。
即使现在只剩我孤单一个人，这件事也永远不会变。]
[ 因为大家在约定的那一头跟着我。]

那是离现在很遥远的... 古老传说。

yesterday was work lah..
opening was michael..
a lot of stuff not done..
haha.. kelly & roland was half dead by the time we came..
lol.. poor thing.. seems that it was very busy at night..
customers started coming at 6 plus..
service 10.. but 15 mins or so jiu serve finish le..
ard 7 den the crowd starting coming again..
nvr really reach high levels lah..
but like only service 8 we will announce service 10..
lol.. not enough excitement mah..
hahaha.. actually i rather a lot a lot of customer keep coming..
instead of regular flow of service 5 liddat..
or stop come stop come..
more fun went all come at the same time and dun stop..
lmao!! im siao liao..
hahaha! but its fun annoucing service more than 10 more than 20..
lol! so much excitement behind de lor.. haha!
sure got groans de.. lmao.. a bit xin zhai le huo.. lmao..
auntie nancy din come like i said..

the cream of chicken is good..

but the scoop is miserable and put in cup cannot see le.. haha..
after lunch went back bk take bags..
